Mirza Zoglul Husain ~ President
Mirza Zoglul Husain is a London-based writer and political commentator and a former columnist constantly campaigning for freedom, democracy, justice human rights and harmonious development in Bangladesh. He has appeared many times in Bengali language television talk shows in London, speaking on the political affairs of Bangladesh. A retired computer consultant with a Masters degree in Mathematics, he left his PhD studies in the UK to travel to Kolkata, India in 1971 to join the Independence War in Bangladesh.

Sabria Chowdhury Balland ~ Vice President & Secretary
Sabria Chowdhury Balland is a human rights defender and political analyst writing on the political matters of the United States and Bangladesh in international publications. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Aequitas Review, a political, analytical online publication. She is the co-author and editor of Bangladesh: A Suffering People Under State Terrorism (Peter Lang, 2020). She is a former elected member of the US Democratic Party Abroad. She has a degree in International Relations from Pepperdine University and Marymount College. She has a Masters Certification in International Trade Law from the American University of Paris, France.

Nahidul Khan ~ Board Member
Nahidul Khan is an accomplished and successful businessman with extensive experience in land development and the management of retail businesses. He is currently at the head of several retail, holding, property development and investment companies in the United States. His goal is to work for Bangladesh and its people, especially in environmental and rural development, and to elevate the quality of life in Bangladesh. Mr. Khan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bangladesh. Currently, he serves as the President of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party of Georgia, USA. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the human rights organisation, Right to Freedom. He is also the Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Cultural Foundation, the Vice President of the Bangladesh-China Cultural Academy, and a member of the National Committee of Shata Nagorik. From 2021-2022, he served as the Joint Secretary of the Federation of the Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA).

Syed Abu Bakar Siddique ~ Board Member
Syed Abu Bakar Siddique is a human rights defender and political analyst. He has worked in the Bangladesh Army for 24 years, between 1983 to 2007, when he retired as a Major. He is a founding member and Vice President of G9 in Bangladesh. He has worked as a United Nations Peacekeeper in East Timor between 1999 and 2000. Currently, Mr. Siddique does a podcast on the Bangladesh Liberation War. Mr. Siddique completed his defense studies in the Staff College of Bangladesh, has a Master of Defense Studies from National University in Bangladesh and an MBA from the Royal Roads University in Canada. He writes on human rights and international security matters and has been living in the UK for many years.

Dr. Abid Bahar ~ Board Member
Dr. Abid Bahar, Ph.D. is a playwright and public speaker. He is the author of several books on Myanmar and Bangladesh. Dr. Bahar presently teaches Ethics of Leadership in Canada.
