The Coalition for Human Rights & Democracy in Bangladesh (CHRD Bangladesh) is a US-based nonprofit organization, but its scholarly membership spans three continents. It was born on February of 2021 and is fast expanding. The members come with a wealth of knowledge and experience in wide-ranging fields which include academics, research, engineering, medicine, journalism, political activities and freedom fighting in the Bangladesh Liberation War. The common factor that binds them together is their deep sense of patriotism and commitment to the democracy and wellbeing of Bangladesh and its future generations.
The Coalition for Human Rights & Democracy in Bangladesh is recognized in the United States as tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
